Professor / Operations Management
Ick-Hyun Nam is Professor of Operations Management at Seoul National University. He has served as the Dean of College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business, Seoul National University from Jan. 2015 to Jan. 2017. He also served as the Dean of Planning and Coordination at Seoul National University from July 2010 to July 2014. He has a BBA Degree from Seoul National University and received his PhD from Stanford University.
He was awarded a prize from the President of Seoul National University and awarded the Best Scholar Award from the Dean of Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. Also he was selected to receive the Best Thesis award on Scientific Technology from General Union of Korea Scientific Technology Research.
He served as an editor for the International Journal of Management Science.
His research focuses on Quantitative Business Analysis and Operations System. He published nine books and his research has appeared in Operations Research, the International Journal of Production Research and the International Journal of Management Science.
